Monday, July 11th: Last day of regular school!

I woke up this morning, showered in a bug-free shower (YAY) and got to skype with my family!!  That always makes life better :)  Plus I got to eat my englishmuffin with the butter and cinnamon sugar I bought yesterday. Yummy!
Happy last day of school!  Tomorrow, summer school begins with a brand new schedule. Yay :)  Anyways, Madelyn and I started today assisting in the office.  I made scrap paper by drawing a line across the paper...for like an hour.  Next was an assembly saying goodbye to Emely Sensei, Lin Sensei, and another teacher who is getting married so she won't come back to teach.
She looked so thrilled to be there

334 high fives!
Following the assembly was a little prep time and lunch with Shion B...they really like my camera...
My desk partner at lunch :)

One of my favortie kiddos :)
Mo chan!

Mo Chan and another kid
at lunch...he's totally
the class clown

Mmm nose pickers.

Kids like to borrow my camera...so I
get pictures like this.

Sometimes I get cute pictures from the
deal :) I love this little guy!

Another crazy kiddo.

Kissy lips from the Majelyn's
daughter, Naomi chan

Canede (Cah-NEh-Deh)
showing off the dog
stickers on her thermos.

Boys playing some matching game
with my flashcards

A girl thought I really needed a
picture of my apron :)

Kai (Kah-eee) came to visit,
not sure of the pose though.
She's one of the cute,
better English speakers :)

Me and Canede, some of the girls wanted
to take turns taking pictures of each
other on my lap :)

Rockin the Japanese peace!

All their cute little red bags and hats!

Cleaning up on the last day of school

Saying goodbye to Emely Sensei
means showing off your flexibility!
(yes, that's a boy doing the splits)
After lunch was some more planning and discussion of the schedule for the next few days.  Then, KIDS CLUB!
I sat at the genki
(energetic) kids table.

Just kidding.
They were quiet and awkward.

(I don't think she likes me)

Eventually I got them laughing :)
Kids Club was exhausting...After work I started today's blog, took an accidental nap (kids make me sleepy), and made dinner.  Look what I found at the grocery store on Sunday:
WHITE PEACHES!
I'm not sure where they're from but it was really juicy, quite fragrant, and pretty sweet :)  Not as good as Modesto peaches, Grandma!  But still very good...I love white peaches!
The rest of the night will be spent doing Kumon, journals, cleaning, and hopefully skyping with my someone :)
